Communication is Key
The success of most everything we do can typically be traced back to our level of communication. Did we communicate plans or job orders clearly? Did we communicate our goals or intentions clearly? At SERVPRO if West Pensacola we are always working towards optimizing our communication, whether that is with our customers, insurance professionals, vendors or our team, we know that clear and consistent communication is what makes a good organization into a great one. You can have all the skills and resources in the work, but if you don't communicate well then there is bound to be some breakdowns and bottlenecks that lower the ceiling on your business. Our policy is to communicate with customers and pertinent parties involved in a job daily, until we follow through and the job is complete. Job status reports as well as just checking in to make sure they feel informed. Scheduled daily and weekly staff meetings with our team as well as impromptu huddles keep us on the same page and working together. Its not to say we have perfected the system but we are constantly working on being better at communication.
